I think Charlie Samuels hates the Mets fans. Maybe he reads this blog and he just really wants to get under your skin for whatever reason.

It actually was so hard to watch that I, and I'm not kidding, decided instead to listen to the game on the radio instead.

It actually turned out to be quite nice. Sat out in the backyard, got some vitamin D, and let me tell you, Howie does one hell of a job.

Argh! Just catching up on what the Mets have been wearing the past week and was horrified to see this combination. I'm almost tempted to say dick around with black all you like but lets not mess with the classics. It's like doing a dance version of Mozart, a modern-art version of a Leonardo, remaking the Godfather!

Well, it's a black and blue hat with pinstripes, but it's still not great. Not great at all.

According to Howie Rose, Charlie Samuels Loves the black.

Howie also said that Charlie does Not like the pinstripes, ergo, they are not worn nearly as much as the plain home whites.

In all my life, I have never heard of a Mets fan, let alone the clubhouse boss, not liking the pinstripes.

Maybe it's time for Charlie to look in another career direction.

Its like they should just go back to the dark blue simple hats of 1969/70.
They have changed shades from dark to light to the glow dark of now.
Those true looking 1969 throwback hats are long gone and looked better than any 'shade" and style of hat they have had for the last 25 or so years too!
