Citi Field Ribbons Were Lowered

Somehow we missed this one...but it was mentioned during the WFAN interview, and reader Scott shot me a note...

Hey Shannon,

I went to Citi for the first time since July yesterday for the last game and I noticed that the LED was lowered about 20 to 24 inches.  This may in fact be old news, but I did not know about this!  Amazing!  I wrote about it, figured to be the only victory I witnessed this year, http://sectionsix.metsblog.com/blog/_archives/2009/10/5/4342440.html.

Scott

That's good that they did that.  Seriously, as much fun as killing the Mets is, I would be happy to help them publicize their fan-friendly efforts.  Drop me a note Metsies when you do good things!  shannon@metspolice.com

I forgot about that. I was there yesterday, with my ticket for seats partially blocked by the LED ribbons, but never went up there to look. Oops.

Good that they did it though.
