Maybe it's the coffee I'm chugging but Metsblog is stressing me out News: K-Rod is Playing Winter Ball

So let me get this right, the current trend in baseball is to protect pitchers, and limit innings.  Meanwhile, one of the few Mets who isn't banged up is going to pitch for Tiburones de la Guaira.  Fortunately the Metsblog piece says that the Mets asked him not to play.  Unfortunately his contract allows him to play.
