Braves are in town and they suck. Followed by the Astros who are mediocre.

The Braves are in the words of Bruce Springsteen 'bruised and battered'. They know they are done therefore the Mets need to pound on them. This team for the last 17 years has been a nightmare for my team.

Good teams who want to win division titles (WC isn't going to be an option this year) have to take advantage of their opportunities.

Yes I know the bullpen is banged up. I know that Fernando Tatis and Damien Easley are being relied on each night to contribute and there's a platoon of 2 kids from Binghamton in there.

The Mets are better than the Braves - so go out there and beat them up like you should - YOU'RE BETTER.

7 game homestand and then Philly, Marlins and Brew Crew on the road - all over .500 and all 'in the race'. Don't rely on them slacking off - do your own job.
