osh41 likes to play golf once in a while, if he lits lotto he will play much more because he thinks if he plays it he could be alright and enjoy himself.

Every time I play and I stink I manage to hit one great shot that makes me think I shouldn't quit the game for good.

The Mets lose a game after having a 7 run lead. And yes we know the pen stinks and there were plenty of goats to blame all around - but it really was a bad loss.

And then they win last night. They are in the same place they were coming into Philly. If you'd have told me they would have split the series going in I would have taken it to the bank. I am not so arrogant to think they'd sweep them in Philly - btw that park is a joke. Both HR's Santana gives up are outs at Shea.

The Mets are like my golf shot. One night they make me want to throw it all away and then they show some heart, get some hits, make some plays, get a 1-2-3 ninth and you'll tune in again.
