Yes Fred and Jeff Wilpon you will get ripped from time to time (stop blowing September leads) but staying on WFAN is a wise choice. For all of the Yankees success the FAN is still considered the 'Mets' station.

Awesome signal, can be heard up and down the coast plus you get talked about all day long. WCBS is a news station, the Yankees are an interruption to their primary business. WFAN can provide you with unrivaled coverage.

OSH419 can personally attest that the rival station in town (1050 ESPN) is very hard to get west of NYC even in your car (which as a large piece of metal should help conduct a signal) and is very difficult to get in my home. By walkman?? Good luck.

Jets, Knicks and Rangers left the FAN a few years back. BAD MOVE. Dolan hates criticism and he sure won't get 24 hours of it on 1050. The Jets??? C'mon its been 40 years since the best thing happened to this club, why should you think they would make a smart move and elect to stay with the better sports station?? No wonder why the Giants rule this area.

Good move Mets - now make some more, like getting a bullpen and getting rid of the black.
