The MLB Network debuts today. "I like the idea of" it (as an old friend used to say) but information has been pretty sketchy. My cable system has yet to list the individual programs (that's you Fios) but overall it can't hurt.
Hopefully they'll do tons of live cut-ins (like what Sirius XM does with their football package) and maybe they will be the one's to dust off those old 1975 Mets highlight films.
I looked through the schedule posted on mlb.com and I'm seeing a lot of lame things like "2007 World Series Game 1." Come on guys, go a little deeper than that. Dig out some stuff from the 60's and 70's.
