Re: "Howie Rose Rips Black Mets Uniforms Again":
Leave the fashion statements to the Marlins. Wear your blue pinstripes at home, greys away, and put on your blue hates.
We're the New York Mets, blue and orange. Not the new Hugo Boss line.
Re: "Inside The Acela Club":
My husband and I recently ate at the Acela Club when we attended a Mets game. Views were nice, service was very annoying. Our waiter, named Yuri, was over-bearing, annoying, and pushy!! We were unable to enjoy our meal and scenery due to the annoyance of the nagging staff. Food was horrible. You are very limited, and very over priced... I would rather eat a Nathans hot dog for $7 then spend 82 on a crappy hamburger with raw french fries. Very upset with Citi Field Acela Club. SAVE UR MONEY AND TIME!!!! DONT GO.
Or...
We ate at the Acela club yesterday. Contrary to the previous poster, our service was excellent. We had a party of 4. The buffet was great, and we all ordered the cheeseburger, which was made to order and excellent. Garlic fries were to die for. Highly recommend visiting, even at $41 per person... it was well worth it for the experience.
DyHrdMET has left a new comment on your post "Sing the Anthem At Citi Field":
any verb with the words "at Shea" sounds better than the same verb followed by "at Citi Field".
- they're on their feet at Shea
- it's Opening Day at Shea
- a sold out crowd at Shea Stadium
And I can just hear Howie Rose saying the first two, and I can actually hear Bob Murphy saying the third.
and also from DyHrdMet a new comment on your post "Are Open Concourses A Bad Idea?":
I was at the second game against Boston when it was blowing about 30-40 mph outside, and everything inside seemed like a wind tunnel. I don't remember wind where I was at home last night.
And I figured out a while back that there's no 8th inning sing-along unless we're winning.
You may do well at the Shake Shack's line at 5pm before the game before people start arriving.
Sad Yankee Fan has left a new comment on your post "Are There 16,000 Tickets To Every Yankees Game On ...":
What a disaster their whole ticket plan has been. All they had to do was to leave everyone where they were in the old stadium and raise prices by $25 on average. That's about an extra 100 million at least in their pockets from last year. Great job by their outside consulting firm on ticket prices & relocation!!
