(repost) The Horrible Noise When New York Mets Players Bat

Bad job outta me yesterday posting the wrong video.   Here's the article again, this time with the right video.

Recently I complained about the noise at Citi Field (as did reader JMF in a well thought out guest column)....I'm convinced Castillo is out to annoy me.

Here's a video from 2008 that explains how the players pick their song.  Watch the video and you'll see that the players wouldn't give a darn if all that went away and the Mets switched to organ music.

I didn't realize Moises Alou came to the plate to....nothing!  Can we bring him back?  He is now my favorite Met of the 21st century.  (Go about 2:30 into the video)



Since the players don't care why does the stadium, play it?  Just play organ music.

Yes, Moises is the one.

I recall on t.v. seeing some Mets show where they went behind the scenes to the Make Noise Department, and it was so exciting, in fact, I think Mets Police should raid them!
