The Star-Ledger proposes that "fans" like the home runs at New Yankee Stadium.

Thursday afternoon, it was hard to find too many critics of the homer-friendly park.

"As long as it's a Yankee, I'm happy," said Martin Vega, a Bronx native, a few seconds after the Damon home run landed. He could barely finish the sentence before Nick Swisher drilled a pitch that just missed clearing the wall in left. Vega fist-bumped his friend.



Really?  Everyone I know hates the home runs.   Something tells me Mr. Vega would wear the "alternate jersey" if the Yankees ever went that route.
