I'm wondering if Jets games might be blacked out in New York this year.
My 6 year old has now been contacted for the 5th time to buy Jets tickets.
I never put him on the Jets list (I wouldn't ever pay $50 to be on a waiting list), although he was on the Giants list (before turning down tickets earlier this summer because he didn't have the $60 grand for club level seats).
Did the Giants share the database?
This week we got a call and an email:
Your waitlist account number has been called to select seats for the 2009 season!
I attempted to call you earlier to let you know that we have reached your seniority year. Since we are assigning seats live on the phone, it is essential that I speak to you as soon as possible in order to take full advantage of your seniority.
Please give me a call on my direct line at (973) xxx-xxxx!
They must be pretty hard up if they are chasing us this much.
What happens if they only sell 99% of the seats? Will the NFL waive the rule? Personally I'd love if the Jets are blacked out. I'd love to see the other AFC teams. The Jets should move to Mercury when the Mets do.
