Baseball writers have turned down a proposal to form a committee for developing guidelines on evaluating players from the steroids era in Hall of Fame voting.
I don't know much about the proposal, but seems like a reasonable idea...unless you want to leave out the all time Home Run leader, the guy who hit the most home runs in a season, and the second most, and the third most...and some 3,000/500 guys...and a guy with 354 wins
Oh and the hit king isn't in either.
Nice sport you guys have. Let's be sure to keep the hall clean.
Unrleated thought: Make sure you cheer for all the first basemen in tonight's All-Star game.
