Mets Police Stadiums Week Day 9: Miller Park

We wrap up Stadiums Week with a tour of Miller Park courtesy of Dan.













Look, another one of those statue things the Mets haven't heard about.













Retired numbers for guys known for their work on other teams. We're familiar with that...











Home team heroes and honoring an announcer.  Interesting.   Kiner's still alive by the way....hint.










We have an apple, they have a slide.












I don't see plexiglass.   That's nice.

This stadium isn't grabbing me.  At least they researched retractable roof technology which is more than I can say for the Mets, Jets, Giants and Yankees.

By the way, if I came to you on September 12th 2001 and told you that in 9 years we'd have three new stadiums but there'd still be a hole at Ground Zero would you have believed me?  



That wraps us Stadiums Week.  We'll do another one in the off-season when it gets even quiter than being 17.5 games out.

you mentioned the plexiglass. i actually wrote something about that today comparing Arthur Ashe Stadium to Citi Field.

but i need to ask something - Stadiums Week, Day 9? What calendar are you looking at that has 9 days in a week? i was always taught 7.

Yeah once I realized I had "extra" Stadiums Week stuff I decided to keep going through the weekend. I figured someone would notice....

It sure is odd that someone notices that but not one person has mentioned David Howard's research. Sure is odd.
