New York Mets Giving Away Red Mini Car

The Mets want us to know that the first 25,000 fans will get this mini car on Sunday.

Does anyone notice anything about the car? Do I really have to say it? I guess I do - otherwise someone in Flushing would have flagged it.

Here's a hint...it's a METS car. Now, for 100 points who can tell me what colors it should be?

I KNOW I KNOW....Black and Orange. No wait, blue and white. No...black and silver but that would have to be a flying car from the future. Seriously we should check out the rest of the league to see if they gave out the same car somewhere. I can see Lincoln/mlb execs go well we can just cheaply slap the teams logo on one color car.

If You're Visiting For The First Time

If you are visiting The Mets Police for the first time, welcome.

This blog aims to be a little different. We're less likely to complain about a pitching change than we are likely to complain about what the pitcher was wearing.

We're about Mets history and tradition. We'd like to see a Seaver statue at Citi Field. We'd like the black uniforms to go away. We'd like the team to always treat the fans with respect.

We're just regular old Mets fans like you who have migrated from the uppers to the Promenade where we were saddened when we found plexiglass. Finally, for all our complaining we just want the franchise to win the World Series (while nicely dressed).

The site is updated several times a day, usually morning, noon, and night (cliche but true) with other items as they come in.
