This cap I've done before, but since there's no Italian Flag cap that I know of, I wasn't able to give those of Italian heritage any options last week....I like this cap a lot even though the blue is not Mets blue.  Fun cap.  Click the pic to buy one.

In hindsight it's sort of Amazin' that the Mets never wore something like this in the late 70s/early 80s when thus type of cap was common.   I strangely like it.  I may buy one to annoy Osh41.  Click the cap if you'd like to annoy him too.

I don't like this cap because of the lettering.  Caps aren't meant to say Mets on them, it should say NY.   However, that 62 on the side is interesting.  Ugly but interesting. Click it if you want one.

Nope this picture isn't in black and white, this is a Barracuda Cap.  I guess it's not awful, and I could see you wearing it to a Jimmy Buffett concert or something.  I don't know how things like this even come into existence, but click on it if you want one.

Like yesterday, here's another earflap cap.  This one is black.   You should get the blue one if your ears are cold.  Strangely I like how this one looks with the flaps up, it looks better than the normal black cap.  Click the cap if you'd like to buy one.

As I am hopefully somewhere in the sky between NYC and a major sporting event as you read this, it's time for another round of Alternate Caps while I travel.   Today is a nice solid blue cap with the earflaps.  I'm not a fan of this style, but if your ears are cold who am I to judge?  Click the cap if you'd like to buy one.

Thanks to NyPfdr for watching my back this morning and letting me know the new 2010 batting practice caps have been released.














This is a league wide thing so we can't just kill the Mets on it.

Let's for a second suggest that the black shouldn't be on there.  We may have something then that looks like this Giants cap (thanks Uni Watch)













We might wind up with a normal looking Mets cap with just some weird pop-up line thing on the brim.

I don't totally hate it (if they insist on having black for some reason, and what is that reason again?) but I don't get the brim.


Instead of piling on our poor beaten down Mets, lets focus our annoyance on the Yankee who have decided to have road...





...and home caps.  You can see all the teams here, and be thankful you're not an Orioles fan today.
