Reds Series Preview

Continuing with our theme of Santana & Maine and pray for rain.....we'll get Rain on Friday which is good (instead of Pelfrey), Pelfrey and Santana for Saturday's doubleheader so that's a split, and Perez vs Johnny Cueto on Sunday - Perez is due for a great game....so the Mets Police predict the Mets take two of three, and the Reds lose their heads (see below)

Hooray for the Mets for honoring Jackie Robinson. One question. The Mets Police would prefer they not have names on the uniforms. You should know who #5 is or stay home. Presumably the names are to make it easier for newbies to identify players. Thus, The Mets Police asks why no names on the uniforms on a night where everyone is wearing #42?

If You're Visiting For The First Time

If you are visiting The Mets Police for the first time, welcome.

This blog aims to be a little different. We're less likely to complain about a pitching change than we are likely to complain about what the pitcher was wearing.

We're about Mets history and tradition. We'd like to see a Seaver statue at Citi Field. We'd like the black uniforms to go away. We'd like the team to always treat the fans with respect.

We're just regular old Mets fans like you who have migrated from the uppers to the Promenade where we were saddened when we found plexiglass. Finally, for all our complaining we just want the franchise to win the World Series (while nicely dressed).

The site is updated several times a day, usually morning, noon, and night (cliche but true) with other items as they come in.
