Five Questions For An Average Mets Fan (Fan #59)

Next up in the 5 Questions series is Harris.

1. When did you start following the Mets?
1999

2. What is your favorite Mets memory?
I have two:

Watching Timo Perez catch the last out of the 2000 NLCS to send them to the world series. He did the crow hop and I was in heaven.

John Maine pitching game 6 of the 2006 NLCS, the night before the Endy catch. Maine and the team were just resilient and it was a must win game that was played like good teams play.

3. What is your worst Mets memory or experience?
Yadier Molina's home run off of Heilman in game 7 of 2006.

4. If you could change one off-field thing about the franchise what
would it be?
Paint all the seats the colors they should be. Match Shea and pay homage to the original home of the Mets. Orange, Blue, Green and Red forever.

5. If you owned the team starting tomorrow, what is the first thing
you would change?

The mindset of the team. I wouldn't pursue big names, letting the talent from within develop. If you look at the greatest teams in baseball history, they were home grown players coming into their own.
