Hey, folks (like me) who have tickets for Sunday - prepare for the worst stadium closing in the history of stadium closings. Braves closed Fulton County with a Game 5 loss 1-0 in 1996 but at least they made it to the World Series and had won it all the year before.
Brewers win tonight, now have a 1 game lead. Mets now have to start Santana on 3 days rest after 125 pitches the other night. Honestly - the way they have played can you see them winning the next 2?? What can you expect from him tomorrow - 6 at best? That leaves 9 outs to the Pig Pen and assumes that the offense will actually score some runs.
An absolute utter disgrace. There will be cheers for guys out there who won something like the '69 and '86 guys and even the guys from the scrub teams who never had a chance to play for a winner (Stearns).
Will keep an eye on them but it's better to admit it's over now than to be shocked on Sunday when reality is going to b--ch slap everyone on Sunday.
