Here's the 2010 New York Mets Schedule

Hey you know that whole Jackie Robinson thing....well I guess it's not a big deal since the Mets will be on the road on April 15th.

I guess my Chicago road trip will have to wait until 2011, the Mets don't go to Wrigley until Labor Day weekend. In fact there's no really interesting road trip at all. I could see myself in Baltimore in June. Maybe. Although the Met splay the Twins, and the Twins have a new stadium, the games are at Citi Field.

The Mets open at home on April 5th with a day game, as God intended (except for years in which the Padres are bing whiny bitches.)

My road trip might be San Diego for Memorial Day, especially if the Angels and Dodgers are home on Saturday or Sunday. I rather spend my money on seeing my team in a real stadium than on eating plan-tickets to a poorly built stadium with no semblance of team history. And maybe I'll buy some Dodger stuff...AT DODGER STADIUM...what a novel idea.

If you are visiting The Mets Police for the first time, welcome.

This blog aims to be a little different. We're less likely to complain about a pitching change than we are likely to complain about what the pitcher was wearing.

We're about Mets history and tradition. We'd like to see a Seaver statue at Citi Field. We'd like the black uniforms to go away. We'd like the team to always treat the fans with respect.

We're just regular old Mets fans like you who have migrated from the uppers to the Promenade where we were saddened when we found plexiglass. Finally, for all our complaining we just want the franchise to win the World Series (while nicely dressed).

The site is updated several times a day, usually morning, noon, and night (cliche but true) with other items as they come in.
